Patients are welcome to nominate which practitioner they would like to see. Please just advise reception when you are making your appointment.
Consultations are by appointment, to make an appointment to see any of our practitioners, please call (03) 9939 3909.
All our practitioners try to keep to appointment times, but sometimes there may be an unavoidable delay. We will endeavour to keep all delays to a minimum.
If you require more than one patient to be seen by a practitioner, please advise reception when you are making your appointment. Longer appointments are also available – just let reception know you would like a longer appointment when you book.
Emergencies will be given priority.

Non-English Speaking Patients
We are a multi-lingual practice, and our practitioners speak many diffrent languages.
If you require an interpreter, please advise us at the time of making your appointment and we will try to arrange this for you.
You are welcome to attend your appointment with a family member or friend if you feel comfortable with them interpreting for you.
Recall & Reminder System
You will be advised via text, email or phone call when we have received test results for you or it is time to make your next regular appointment, i.e. Pap smear, care plan, etc. If you do not wish to be contacted via text or email please advise us in writing.
It is important that you see your practitioner to receive your test results. Please feel free to ring the clinic at any time to see if results have been received. Results are not given out over the phone.
To ensure proper management of your medication you will need to make an appointment to see your practitioner for repeat scripts
You must make an appointment to see your practitioner for a Medical Certificate. Certificates cannot be back dated.
Emergencies & When We Are Closed
If you are experiencing an emergency, dial 000 straight away. They will assist you. If you need a locum service our GP will visit you at home. A record of the visit will be sent to your practitioner following the visit.
Visits may be arranged with new patients on a needs basis. Please speak to reception to arrange a meeting to check on availability.
Dorevitch Pathology is open at our Night Clinic, 1220 Glenhuntly Rd Glen Huntly, from 6.30pm – 9.30pm Monday to Friday.
